Welcome to Willow Lake Retreat, a Timber Yurt Glamping, Camping and Fishing site, situated in the North West of England – Chester, Cheshire, UK.

Our two beautiful, luxurious timber Yurts Ptarmigan and Capercaillie are situated adjacent to The Groves Fisheries, within the beautiful Cheshire countryside, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and nature.

This little Glamping and Camping hideaway; with its lush, green landscape and private carp, tench and rudd roach fishing lake….along with fantastic facilities will provide a unique and relaxing experience.

Forget wet, cramped, hard floor tents! Our Yurts are furnished with extremely comfy double beds, goose down duvets and soft rugs lay upon the redwood flooring. The Log burners in both of the Yurts ensure that you are warm and toasty on chilly evenings. Yurt Capercaillie is a Yurt that can be rented all year round as it is made from Finnish Artic Spruce – keeping the cold out!

When staying at Willow Lake Yurts you are guaranteed ultimate privacy. The site isn’t shared so if you book one yurt we won’t book the second one out. The site is exclusively yours – even better to book the two out, this way up to twelve guests can stay in the Yurts and enjoy the Yurt Life!!

We are surrounded by countless attractions, literally on our doorstep! The historical Roman city of Chester is just two miles away, Chester Zoo one and a half miles away, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm nine miles away, Manley Mere, Blue Planet Aquarium one and a half miles away, Liverpool City Centre twenty miles away and many more! Perfect for family days out.

For the couples who are just wanting a relaxing time away with a few leisurely walks, strolls to the pub for delicious food, shopping sprees or even to experience the trendy Chester nightlife after a day at Chester Racecourse – its literally all outside of your Yurt door!
