Site Rules and Safety / Information
1) We regret for now, we cannot accept dogs. The fields surrounding the site are often frequented by livestock.
2) Parents / Guardians are expected to supervise children at all times.
3) Willow Lake Yurts is surrounded by ponds and small lakes. Children are the responsibility of Parents / Guardians.
4) The large campfire area and wood burning stove (in yurt) if lit, will be expected to be attended to at all times. Please be aware that the wood burner flue pipe will get extremely hot at times, parents are advised to be extremely cautious In supervising children around the flue – please don’t touch!
5) We are a Glamping Fishing retreat promoting relaxation in the countryside, we do not promote amplified music or noisy parties. Music can be played at a respectable level and has to be turned to a minimum at 8pm.
6)We aim to make your holiday an enjoyable one in a rural setting but, we cannot be held responsible for accidents or consequential loss or theft or damage to your belongings.
7) Please do not bring your own candles, tea lights will be provided with lanterns, paraffin lanterns are not permitted. Please bring a battery operated torch for use when walking to the toilets as there is no lighting except for solar lights.
8) Soft, clean shoes or slippers are required for the yurt interior, stiletto shoes and outdoor shoes are not permitted.
9) Strictly no smoking policy in the yurts.
10) One basket of logs & kindling will be provided for the log burner. If you require more we can sell it (if available) at a normal price or it can be purchased locally.
11) The price is per yurt, the bedding provided is as follows – Capercaillie – full bedding for the double bed / futon bottom sheet. Ptarmigan – full bedding on two double beds / bottom sheet on futon & raised sleeping area double bed. Please bring your own bedding for the two double futons.
12) All arrivals after 15:00pm on the day of arrival and 10:30am on the day of departure unless otherwise stated.
13) If you would like access to a plug socket to charge mobile phones etc. this will incur an extra charge of £10 for your stay – the socket has only been fitted recently due to customers concerns regarding charging mobile phones. As the cost of electricity is high we are having to charge an extra fee as the use of the socket and unlimited access is not reflected in our prices. This can be paid on the day of arrival, please notify us via text prior to staying so we can make the socket accessible.
14) The cooking ‘shack’ is fully equipped with a gas hob, cooking utensils, cutlery, fridge etc. The wash up area is equipped with cleaning products / tea towels etc. We provide hand towels in the toilets. Please bring your own bath towels.
15) We advise you to bring your own bottled drinking water as the water tap is an outside tap within the wash up shack.
16) Any damages or breakages you will be held responsible for.
